Dataset for: Uncovering the threshold effects of ecological and demographic drivers on cultivated land fragmentation in the Yellow River Basin

This dataset package contains derived county-level indicators, model-ready tables, SHAP and threshold exports, and lightweight figure-reproduction support files for the study "Uncovering the threshold effects of ecological and demographic drivers on cultivated land fragmentation in the Yellow River Basin". The package is intended to support reproducibility of the manuscript results without redistributing large third-party raw base datasets that already have their own repositories or licenses. Included contents cover: (1) county-level derived indicators and CLFI-related variables, (2) model-ready matrix with train/test split labels for the CatBoost analysis, (3) Figure 4 county-level pattern classification outputs, (4) Figure 6 and Figure 7 plot-ready SHAP, regression, LOWESS, histogram, and threshold-crossing exports, (5) Figure 8 county-level merged means for zoning comparisons, and (6) lightweight plotting scripts used to regenerate key derived visual outputs. Large upstream source datasets such as CLCD, ASTER GDEM V3, climate products, LandScan, OpenStreetMap, and RESDC are not redistributed here and should be obtained from their original repositories and licenses. The package is therefore best understood as a processed research-output archive accompanying the submitted manuscript.
