Nutrient additions can accelerate soil organic C decomposition, increase plant biomass, and shift the compositions of plant communities.The responses of soil bacterial and archaeal communities to different types (N, P and NP) and rates (0, 10, 20 and 30 gâ¢m-2) of fertilizers were investigated in an alpine meadow of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Our results showed that the additions of different fertilizer types and gradients significantly changed bacterial community compositions.
