<b>Forest c</b><b>arbon sink in </b><b>n</b><b>orth China increased in </b><b>recent </b><b>20 years, but decreased in extreme drought years</b>

The data were applied to explore the spatial and temporal dynamics of forest carbon sinks in North China from 2000 to 2020, including (1)The NPP data (tif) in 2000,2005,2010,2015,2020, MOD17A3 product ofMODIS, is an 8-day cumulative annual composite with a resolution of 500m. (2) China Land Cover Dataset (CLCD) (tif) in 2000,2010,2020, produced by Yang and Huang (2021) with a resolution of 30m. (3) The annual climate data (csv) from 2000 to 2020 calculated from the meteorological stations in North China, obtained from the National Meteorological Science Data Center (http://data.cma.cn/). (4) The soil respiration data (csv) of North China, provided in Sun et al. (2022), was applied for validation.
