Transcriptomic analysis of OmrA and OmrB Escherichia coli small RNAs regulons

To identify Escherichia coli OmrA and/or OmrB small RNAs targets, we analyzed the transcriptomes of delta omrAB cells after a 10 minutes pulse-overproduction of either sRNA. To differentiate common vs specific targets of these sRNAs, wt and mutant versions (mut2) of the 5’-end of both sRNAs were used. in parallel with the expectation that the mutations would abolish control of most common targets, while retaining control of the specific ones.
