Babaco virus Q infecting Vasconcellea

We observed plants with virus-like symptoms on leaves such as mosaic and deformation. To diagnose the causes of symptoms and determine virus presence, total RNA was extracted using the NucleoSpin RNA Plant kit. A pooled RNA sample extracted from two symptomatic plants was sent for high-throughput sequencing by NovaSeq6000 platform. Library construction was performed using the TruSeq Stranded Total RNA with the Ribo-Zero Plant kit. Paired-end sequencing including 150 bp reads was performed.
