WHOLE-GENOME SEQUENCE OF COLISTIN RESISTANT Salmonella enterica ISOLATED FROM CHICKEN

Salmonellosis is caused by S. enterica, one of the major foodborne pathogens. The use of antibiotics in food-producing animals has contributed to the emergence of multidrug-resistant (MDR) Salmonella. WGS has a higher resolution than traditional typing methods, and it is being increasingly used. The main goal of this study was to genotype with WGS, two nontyphoidal Salmonella isolated from chicken.
