资源简介:
The data set is associated with a service evaluation project carried out as part of a clinical fellowship. The data were collected as part of general clinical practice in an adult autism diagnostic assessment service in England. Data were anonymised by the lead author and clinician in the service. The aim of the project was to examine the role of standardised screening measures in making clinical decisions in an autism assessment service. Retrospective analysis of 422 patient scores on the Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ), the Empathy Quotient (EQ) and the Childhood Autism Spectrum Test–Relatives’ Questionnaire (CAST-RQ) were conducted and examined in relation to self-reported gender, diagnostic outcome and age. The anonymised dataset in Excel format contains unidentifiable information relating to: age, self-reported gender, diagnostic outcome (autistic or not autistic), scores on screening measures, meeting cut-offs on individual and combination of screening measures, AQ subscale scores and individual item scores on the AQ. The data set contains the core data and a Variable list, including coding for missing data.
