Entry is a part of <b>Mechanomics</b> collection (10.6084/m9.figshare.c.5399826) that contains data supporting findings presented in the following manuscript:<i>Urbanska, M., Ge, Y.</i> et al.,<br><b><i>De novo identification of universal cell mechanics gene signatures</i></b>BiorXiv: https://doi.org/10.1101/2021.04.26.441418<i>; </i><i>first published: </i>27th April 2021<i>, last updated: </i>4th Nov 2024<br>eLife: https://doi.org/10.7554/eLife.87930<i>; first published: </i>23rd March 2023<i>, last updated: </i>27th Dec 2024<br>This dataset contains mechanical measurement of three primary brain tumor cell lines (X01, X04, X08), in three distinct growth conditions:<br>• Serum<br>• EGF (epidermal growth factor)<br>• FGFJI (fibroblast growth factor combined with a JAK inhibitor).These conditions are characterised by low, medium and high activation of STAT3-Ser/Hes3 signaling axis, respectively.The cell lines were described and characterised within a framework of a previous publication by Poser et al (<i>FASEB J.</i>, 2019).Measurements were performed using real-time deformability cytometry (RT-DC).<br><b>_rtdc.zip</b> - contains data acquired during the measurments in '*.rtdc' format<br><b>_tsv.zip</b> - contains extended data in a '*.tsv' format<br><b>_glmm.zip</b> - contains result summaries of statistical analysis comparing Young's moduli of the different cell types using generalised linear mixed effects models<br>
