Initial measurements for experimental setup calibration and proof of concept. mca - stands for "multi-channel analyzer" is a proprietary file format that can be opened with Amptek's free program: DPPMCA Display & Acquisition Software – Amptek – X-Ray Detectors and Electronics A plain ASCII text file with header and footer lines containing metadata on the measurement and the spectrum. Skipping these lines, the raw spectrum (between <<DATA>> and <<END>> lines) can be loaded into many programs.
