Bacterial endosymbionts of Ixodes persulcatus ticks

Hard ticks are ancient arachnid with unique physiology and evolution adaptability. Here we studied bacterial endosymbionts of Ixodes persulcatus ticks collected from a large Eurasian territory. We have assembled and study high quality rickettsial genomes from individual ticks. To assemble genomes, we combined long-read Oxford Nanopore Technology (ONT) sequence and shotgun sequencing via the Illumina platform using 2x300 paired end reads
