Nematode Community Composition

Soils host remarkable biodiversity that is essential to ecosystem functioning. Nematodes are the most abundant and diverse soil animals with vital roles in soil food webs and a multitude of ecosystem functions. However, scale-dependent drivers of their diversity remain poorly understood. This study aims to identify the drivers of soil nematode α-, β-, and γ-diversity across spatial scales and to elucidate their community assembly processes.
