Cycling accidents in Guadalajara, Mexico

A High-Resolution Geospatial Dataset of Cyclist-Involved Crashes and Segmented Cycling Infrastructure in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area (2015–2024) This repository contains the data and documentation accompanying the Data in Brief article of the same name. It provides a processed, analysis-ready dataset linking 774 cyclist-involved crash records to a uniformly segmented cycling network in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area (AMG), Mexico. Spatial Integration: Each crash record is spatially joined to its nearest infrastructure segment (IDSegmento), allowing for precise hotspot detection. Longitudinal Coverage: Comprehensive records spanning nearly a decade (2015–2024). Ready-to-Use: Data is cleaned, validated, and enriched with derived variables (e.g., Concentracion_accidentes). 1.
