Western Snowy Plover Nests at The Nature Conservancy Dangermond Preserve 2024

Western snowy plover nest monitoring was conducted by Point Blue Conservation Science at Dangermond Preserve during the breeding season in 2024. These data represent breeding data including dates, location, productivity, fate, and adult identification if possible. Nest checks were conducted on a semi-regular basis from late April to early August 2024. A permitted snowy plover monitor searched the beach for birds and nests during each visit, documenting nest condition and status, chicks present, and adults present. Broods were followed to fledging or disappearance.
