Data associated with "Tapping Into the Success of Science on Tap New River Valley: Lessons Learned from Eight Years of a Community-Centered Science Outreach Program"

This is the Supplementary Information associated with the manuscript "Tapping Into the Success of Science on Tap New River Valley: Lessons Learned from Eight Years of a Community-Centered Science Outreach Program" published in the Journal of Community Engagement and Scholarship. Data includes Table S1, which is a spreadsheet detailing Science on Tap NRV events since the start of the program in 2017. This file includes dates, event titles, number of presenters, presenter title(s), if the presenter(s) were affiliated with Virginia Tech or not, broad classification of the event's topic, event type, size of the in-person audience, size of the online audience (synchronous), and size of the online audience (asynchronous). Also included are Tables S2 and S3 which define terms used in the "presenter title(s)" and "topic classification" columns of Table S1 as well as Figures 2 and 3 from the publication.
