Zscan4 binds nucleosomal microsatellite DNA and protects mouse two-cell embryos from DNA damage [RNA-seq]

2C-like cells or pluripotent cells were isolated from Zprom::GFP and Zprom::GFP-Zscan4 mouse ESC reporter lines to measure changes in gene expression. Stable clonal mouse ESC reporter lines were generated containing the Zscan4 promoter driving either GFP or the GFP-Zscan4 fusion and sorted on the basis of GFP fluorescence to isolate pluripotent (GFP-) or 2C-like cells (GFP+) for gene expression analysis. There are four samples analyzed.
