The CASIA Speech Emotion Recognition Dataset is a freely available dataset specifically designed for research and development in speech emotion recognition. It contains approximately 1,200 speech samples from four speakers (two males and two females), covering six distinct emotion categories: neutral, happy, sad, angry, fearful, and surprised. All speech samples are in Mandarin Chinese, making them suitable for training and testing speech emotion recognition models.
