Historical simulated snowpack for the Willow Creek and Big Thompson, Colorado watersheds and vicinity, water years 1994-2023

This data release contains historical SnowModel outputs for the Willow Creek and Big Thompson, CO watersheds and surrounding area. Simulated outputs were produced on a 30 meter (m) geospatial grid and forced using meteorology from the National Land Data Assimilation System (NLDAS-2). These simulations used daily snow water equivalent (SWE) time-series from 13 National Resources Conservation Service snowpack telemetry (SNOTEL) sites to condition the SnowModel to observed snowpack. Land cover information for the simulation was provided by the 2016 National Land Cover Database and 30 m elevation information was provided by the National Elevation Dataset.
