Dataset: Verified implementations of the Sottek psychoacoustic Hearing Model standardised sound quality metrics (ECMA-418-2 loudness, tonality and roughness)

Description

Dataset comprises an audio signal and corresponding reference results supporting the verification of the implemented algorithms presented in the conference paper "Verified implementations of the Sottek psychoacoustic Hearing Model standardised sound quality metrics (ECMA-418-2 loudness, tonality and roughness)".The dataset can be downloaded to a copy of the MATLAB open-source SQAT toolbox (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.7934709 GitHub: https://github.com/ggrecow/SQAT) where it is used to generate figures displayed within the paper.

A convenience function is also provided to ease transfer of the files into the correct folders within the SQAT directory.

Use

Download the zip file and extract to a local directory. Run copy_data_for_pub_Lotinga2025_to_SQAT.m to copy the files into the correct location in the SQAT directory (or extract the zipped folders directly into \publications\pub_Lotinga2025_Forum_Acusticum_ECMA418_2\data). Then run pub_Lotinga2025_Forum_Acusticum_ECMA418_2.m to reproduce the figures.
