HPLC Hemoglobin and CBC Dataset – West Bengal, India

This dataset contains anonymized high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) results from a cross-sectional hematological screening study conducted in West Bengal, India. The dataset includes demographic variables (age, gender, religion, district), HPLC-derived hemoglobin fractions (HbA0, HbA2, HbF, S-window, Unknown), complete blood count (CBC) parameters (RBC count, hemoglobin concentration, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDWcv), and clinical indicators (presence of weakness or jaundice). The final diagnosis categorizes individuals as either normalor carriers of hemoglobinopathies, including beta-thalassemia trait. This dataset can support exploratory data analysis, diagnostic model development, and epidemiological research on thalassemia and other red cell disorders.
