Automated Mapping of Ginseng Cultivation Areas Utilizing a Novel Spectral Index Model and Google Earth Engine without Labels

This dataset provides the spatial distribution of ginseng cultivation areas in Northeast China from 2019 to 2024. The mapping was conducted based on Sentinel-2 imagery using the BGSI and YGSI spectral indices within a novel spectral index model implemented on the Google Earth Engine platform. The dataset represents ginseng greenhouse mapping results stored in ESRI Shapefile format (10 m spatial resolution). Each shapefile corresponds to one year of mapping results. The data can be used for vegetation mapping, agricultural monitoring, and land-use analysis.
