An open, source-cited catalog of reported earthquake damage from the 24 June 2026 M7.2 + M7.5 Venezuela earthquakes. Every record links to the evidence it came from. Built and maintained at crisisvenezuela.org. Not all records are damage. This snapshot holds 16,592 records in seven categories: información 8,436 (general emergency reports, no specific structure) · daño 4,253 (structural damage) · evaluación_habitable 1,387 (inspected, safe to occupy) · acopio 1,243 (aid collection points) · necesidad 618 (requests for help) · evaluación_inconsistente 435 (conflicting inspection results) · evaluación_pendiente 220 (inspection requested, no result). To analyse damage, filter to categoria == "daño" — counting all rows as damage overstates it roughly fourfold. Within damage, nivel is colapso_total, severo, parcial, or dano (generic, used when sources disagree). 959 damage records name a specific structure; 2,671 records carry usable coordinates. How much to trust a record. Every record carries a confianza object with its badge, sources, and which checks were run. No record in this release is badged Verified — verification requires evidence of independent origin, which was not established for any record; most are Reported, faithfully republished from a cited source at that source's word. Coordinates carry provenance: explicita means the source supplied it, geocodificada means it was derived from a place name and is approximate (~1 km typical error). Neither guarantees an exact address. These are remote observations, not engineering ground truth, occupancy determinations, or safety assessments. What is withheld, and why. excluded.json discloses 406 records deliberately kept off the map, each with its reason: sources contradicting each other on location, coordinates irreconcilable with the reported state, records that cannot be placed to one defensible point. They are disclosed rather than silently dropped, and rather than geocoded into false precision. Version 2.0 is a corrected superseding release. It fixes material defects identified after v1.2 was published (10.5281/zenodo.21346598): duplicate identities; category and SismoAyuda status semantics; entity, source and media associations; coordinate-to-location conflicts; evidence freshness; casualty and missing-person scope enforcement; translation labels; cross-export drift; severity-conflict disclosure; and trust labels that formerly overstated source independence. v1.2 is preserved unchanged for reproducibility and carries a data-quality advisory. Each release passes a thirteen-stage integrity sequence; the final stage — named "gate 13" in the file names — is an adversarial human review of every record flagged as high-stakes or contradictory: named collapse claims, cross-source severity disputes, coordinate conflicts, plus a stratified sample of everything else. gate13_human_decisions.json holds all 888 reviewed records with their disposition, the evidence hash judged against, and a written reason for each. gate13_ratification_report.json is the independent machine validation of that ledger (passed, 888/888). apply_manifest.json itemizes the 98 changes the review produced, with before/after values: 40 records restored to the public catalog at professionally corroborated coordinates, 57 severity or category corrections, and 1 withdrawal. Review methodology — reviewer-ratified decision rules for homogeneous classes plus AI-assisted adjudication of individual records under the reviewer's documented delegation — is disclosed per row in the ledger notes. Restored records carry a gate13_provenance block; the exclusion register did not preserve their original capture dates, so those fields are left empty rather than invented. Citation.
