This dataset contains the structured metadata of 1,004 papers published at the ACM RecSys conference (ACM Conference on Recommender Systems) from its inaugural edition in 2007 to the 2023 edition. It was assembled as part of a quantitative longitudinal study of the evolution of recommender systems research. The dataset covers five analytical axes: filtering approaches, algorithmic techniques, application domains, evaluation metrics, and sub-problems addressed.
