资源简介:
This study examines the combined effects of warming and drying on ectomycorrhizal fungal communities at the boreal-temperate forest ecotone. We sampled roots of four ectomycorrhizal host species in the open canopy sites in the B4Warmed Experiment in northern Minnesota, USA in Fall 2017. Saplings of Betula papyifera, Pinus strobus, Pinus banksiana, and Quercus marcocarpa growing in the ambient and +3.4C warmed plots with either ambient water levels or a 40% reduction were harvested and fine roots were sampled and sequenced. Additional details about the experimental design and sequencing methods are available in Fernandez et al. (2017), although it is important to note that the samples from that paper came from the close canopy sites, so are not identical.
