Acinetobacter enrichment cultures from bovine feces : Shotgun metagenome assemblies

Shotgun metagenome assemblies originating from cattle feces sampled at 28 anonymous Czech cattle farms. At each farm (designated as F01-F28), a composite sample consisting of 5–10 dung subsamples was collected from the farm floor/pasture and a 2-g subsample was cultivated in mineral medium supplemented with 0.5% (w/v) sodium acetate to enrich Acinetobacter species. DNA was isolated from the enrichment cultures and shotgun sequenced using Illumina NovaSeq 6000 and Oxford Nanopore PromethION 2 Solo. The sequence assembly was performed on a per-sample basis using the Hybracter pipeline (https://github.com/gbouras13/hybracter).
