Demographic Study Of Monterey Pine

A two year long demographic study was performed on Monterey pine within the reserve. There were four different patches(mixed size, single size, Oak-pine, and expanding front) each contained four transects. Each tree was tagged measured, mapped, and noted for any injuries or diseases. The aim of this research was to obtain, height and ring data as well as growth, recruitment and survivorship data. This study is ongoing.
