Fujian Microeukaryotic Community 18S V4

This project aimed to investigate plankton assemblages along a latitudinal gradient in a subtropical East China Sea region in spring, 2020, using high-throughput sequencing of 18S rRNA gene (rDNA) V4 region. The ecotypic grouping and assembly mechanism of microeukaryotes at the mesoscale were studied. The ecological differentiation of microeukaryotic generalists and specialists in marine environments was also elucidated.
