Dîwân-i-Mu’min (ديوان مؤمن).

The lyrical poems of Mîr Muḥammad Mu’min of Astarâbâd, who was at Kâshân in A.H. 987 (A.D. 1579), and afterwards went to India; in the Dakhan he entered the service first of Ibrâhîm Ḳuṭbshâh, afterwards that of Muḥammad Ḳulî Ḳuṭbshâh; he still flourished under Sulṭân Muḥammad Ḳuṭbshâh (who reigned A.H. 1020-1035=A.D. 1612-1626), and appears to have survived him, as there are elegies on Safînah, No. 187 (col. 217 in the Bodleian Cat.); Âtashkada, No. 322 (ib., col. 273); Haft Iḳlim, catal., pp. 42 and 506.

Ghazals, in alphabetical order, with a few rubâ’îs at the end, on fol. 1b, beginning: چون بناکام از تو تقدير است هجران عيدرا الخ.

Marâthî or elegies, principally on Muḥammad Ḳuṭbshâh, on fol. 131b, beginning:

ماه عاشور بصد شورش افغان آمد

باز درياى بلا بر سر طوفان آمد

Ḳaṣîdas in honour of Muḥammad Ḳulî Ḳutbshâh, etc., on fol. 139b, beginning:

كردگارا بحق شریف نبوی

آن پناهی که ازو پشت اميدست قوى

This copy is dated the 22nd of Jumâdâ-alawwal, A.H. 1143 (A.D. 1730, Dec. 3).
