Summer surface mass balance of Bowdoin Glacier, Greenland in 2016

Aluminium poles were installed in the ice in the lower part of Bowdoin Glacier to measure surface mass balance. Length from top of the poles to ice surface was measured. Measured length change of the poles converted in meters water equivalent.为开展表面物质平衡观测，研究人员于鲍登冰川（Bowdoin Glacier）下段冰体中布设铝制测杆。测定测杆顶端至冰面的距离，并将测得的测杆长度变化换算为米水当量（meters water equivalent）。
