Vertical atmospheric profiling by Cloud Particle Sensor sondes and radiosondes during Arctic cruise by the research vessel Mirai on MR23-06C

Meteorological observations were made in Arctic Ocean on board the R/V Mirai on September 2023. To observe vertical atmospheric structures (e.g., temperature, relative humidity, wind speed), we conducted radiosonde and Cloud Particle Sensor (CPS) sondes observations. In addition, the CPS sondes measured the vertical structures of clouds (e.g., number, radius, and phase of cloud).2023年9月，科研团队搭乘“未来号”（R/V Mirai）科考船于北极海域开展气象观测作业。为观测大气垂直结构（包括气温、相对湿度、风速等指标），本次观测使用无线电探空仪与云粒子传感器（Cloud Particle Sensor, CPS）探空仪实施探测。此外，该CPS探空仪还可测量云的垂直结构特征，例如云粒子数量、粒子半径及云相态。
