This project is a multicenter cross-sectional genetic study, designed to recruit families with a history of nonsyndromic orofacial clefting (OFC), including affected cases and their unaffected family members. Controls with no known history of facial defects will also be recruited. Phenotypic traits and genomic data will be compared between affected cases, unaffected family members and healthy controls. Sites include: Pittsburgh (USA), Lancaster (USA), Colombia, Nigeria, Philippines, and Puerto Rico.
