Ctenopharyngodon idellus headkidney comparative transcriptome

When the grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus) was exposed to the toxin and was dying, the headkidney of the control group and the treatment group with bleeding symptoms were collected, and 8 tissue samples were taken from each group, they were then placed at 80 °C. Total RNA was extracted from the head and kidney tissues of the control group and the challenge group respectively. Eight RNA samples from each group were equally mixed to construct four repeated miRNA sequencing libraries, the Small RNA sequencing library was prepared using TruSeq Small RNA Sample Prep Kits (Illumina, USA) , and then the constructed library was sequenced using Illumina HISEQ2000/2500 with a single reading length of 1X50bp.
