Visual observation data for marine mammals in the Beaufort Sea and surrounding waters in 2014. The data includes information on sighting records for marine mammals and location data for the observation boat.
The survey was divided into two categories based on weather conditions: UP mode (wind speed of 20 knots or less, or visibility of at least 1 nautical mile) and BR mode (the other poor weather conditions). Other incidental observations during the survey were recorded as "Out of effort".
