RNA-seq of the aorta from sST2-knockout mice in angiotensin II-induced aortic disease model

To investigate the impact of sST2 on aortic disease progression, 6-month-old apolipoprotein E-deficient (Apoe -/-) mice were assigned to two groups (n = 3 per group): wild-type littermates and sST2-knockout littermates. Both groups received angiotensin II via osmotic minipump for 28 days to induce aortic disease, after which aortas were harvested for RNA-seq analysis.
