Morphological and Clinicopathologic features of Her2neu positive Breast carcinomas: Analysis of Luminal and Her2 enriched (inherent) molecular subtypes

Breast carcinoma is a diverse group with heterogeneity in Clinico-morphological features, molecular phenotype and genotype. The molecular subtypes include Luminal A, Luminal B, Triple Negative basal and Her2 enriched. Her2 positive tumours are currently in focus owing to the therapeutic modalities offered.Her 2 positive tumours include cases which have been diagnosed based on Her2neu positivity on Immunohistochemistry or in-situ hibridization techniques. These could be hormone receptor positive or negative. This study focusses on the morphological patterns seen in Her2 positive tumours: Her2 enriched and Luminal B subtypes.
