WRI是一项综合指标,旨在评估景观调节和保留流经该景观的水的能力。该指标表明,景观的保水能力可能不足,再加上极端降雨,可能导致更高的洪水风险或水资源短缺。WRI是无量纲的,并考虑了植被的拦截作用,土壤的持水能力以及土壤和基岩的相对能力,以允许水渗透。另外考虑了土封和坡度的影响。
WRI is a comprehensive indicator developed to evaluate the ability of a landscape to regulate and retain water passing through it. This indicator demonstrates that inadequate water retention capacity of the landscape, when compounded by extreme rainfall events, may lead to elevated flood risks or water scarcity. WRI is dimensionless, and accounts for the interception effect of vegetation, the water-holding capacity of soil, as well as the relative capabilities of soil and bedrock to facilitate water infiltration. Additionally, the influences of soil sealing and slope gradient are taken into consideration.
