Stakeholder Prioritization of Variety Registration Reforms in Europe

This dataset contains anonymized perceptions from experts involved in plant variety testing, collected using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The AHP data reflect stakeholder prioritization of proposed reforms to the variety registration system, including institutional, technical, and policy-oriented changes. Participants include representatives from public authorities, private companies, and research institutions engaged in variety testing across Europe. In addition to the AHP dataset derived from expert consultations, an addittional datset includes anonymized responses from the European Commission’s 2022 Public Consultation on the revision of EU rules for plant and forest reproductive material.
