Sequencing of active retrotransposon insertion site to construct a linkage map in sweet potato

Rtsp-1 is one of the active retrotransposon in sweet potato. In this project, its insertion sites were specifically sequenced in a mapping population derived from two different sweet potato cultivars. Our goal is to construct a linkage map using these insertion sites.
