#Sonar Opinion Polls: #-------------------- #From August 1989 Sonar has regularly carried out a number of opinion polls, i.e. surveys of attitudes and habits of life of the adult Danish population. The opinion polls have been carried out approx. 10 times a year, and each opinion poll includes about six different subjects as well as the question of the respondent's voting intention at a hypothetical general election on the day of the interview. # The opinion polls have been carried out in collaboration with the daily paper Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten. The subjects for the individual opinion polls are agreed upon at meetings between the editorial staff of Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten and Sonar; however, the wording of the questions is the sole responsibility of Sonar. # The following background information is included in the data material: #The household: #- Total number of persons #- Sex and age of the household members #- Type of dwelling #- Car in household #- Geocode-2 # #The respondent: #- Year of birth #- Sex #- Gainful employment #- Designation of occupation #- Membership of a trade organization #- If yes: Which organization #- Vote at the last general election #- Driving in own car # #Sonar Opinion Polls, 1992: #-------------------------- In 1992 Sonar carried out 11 opinion polls. In addition, the individual opinion polls are found in DDA-1702 to DDA-1712. # #This survey (DDA-1706 Sonar Opinion Polls 1992: May) deals with the following issues: #Party preference; information on the coming referendum on the EC Union; vote at a hypothetical referendum today; car in household; financing of car; regular service checks; in connection with Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik's silver anniversary on 10 June, the respondent was asked about the impact of the marriage on the Queen's performance, about whether the Queen marrying a Frenchman has been positive or negative for the Danish Royal Family, and about an overall assessment of the performance of Queen Margrethe and of Prince Henrik; purchase of convenience goods; preferred type of shop; assessment of the members of the Government; and summer holiday plans
