资源简介:
Dataset.xlsx: Data of parental care related to botfly (Philornis sp.) infection status in a population of Neotropical blue-black grassquits (Volatinia jacarina). Sheets description: Sheet1_FULL_Dataset - Full data set; Sheet2_subset1 - Subset built to test for potential predictors of parasitism. This data subset contains data from nests that were video recorded before and after being parasitized and from nests that were not parasitized (control); Sheet3_subset2 - Subset of Dataset.xlsx built to compare parental behavioural differences between late and early nestling stages for non-infected and infected nests and for nests infected in late nestling stages (longitudinal approach). This data subset contains paired data from nests that were video recorded before and after being parasitized, nests that were parasitized during early and late nestling stages, and from nests that were not parasitized (control); Sheet4_figure_subset Subset of Dataset.xlsx built to make the Figure 1. Video S1.mp4: Samples of parental behaviour categories, presented in the following sequence: brooding, food provisioning, nest maintenance, interaction between parents, nest sanitation, and nest inspection. Video S2.mp4: Sample of a female performing vigorous movements during nest wall maintenance, to repair damaged nest wall or to extract larvae embedded in the nest wall. Data analyses Script.R: R script used to data analysis.
