Extracting work from hidden degrees of freedom

This repository contains the complete experimental datasets and MATLAB codes used to generate all figures and source data for the associated manuscript on information-to-energy conversion in a harmonic potential. The dataset includes raw trajectory data for the main figures (Figures 1–4) and supplementary figures, along with the corresponding analysis scripts. The MATLAB codes reproduce all plots, perform statistical analysis, reconstruct potentials, and extract work and recoil dynamics using the provided class files. All scripts are organized to load data from structured folders and automatically generate figures (PNG, .fig) and source data files (TXT). The repository is fully self-contained and enables full reproducibility of the results presented in the manuscript.
