Soccer-specific single-leg jump–landing biomechanics dataset and MATLAB scripts: standardized countermovement jumps and extended-reality jump–head–land tasks

Repository descriptionThis figshare repository provides the underlying biomechanical dataset and MATLAB analysis scripts associated with the comparison of standardized single-leg countermovement jumps (SL-CMJ) and an extended-reality jump–head–land task (XR-JHL). The shared dataset comprises comprehensive single-leg time-series data for both tasks, including three-dimensional kinematics, joint kinetics, and ground-reaction forces across the full jump–landing sequence. The repository also includes MATLAB scripts for data processing, phase partitioning, variable extraction, statistical analyses, and generation of study outputs. These materials are shared to support reproducibility, transparency, and reuse of the dataset in future methodological and applied sports-biomechanics research.
