Vera C. Rubin Observatory Observations in the Minor Planet Center

This record provides publicly accessible exports of Vera C. Rubin Observatory observations (observatory code X05) that were submitted to the Minor Planet Center (MPC). The data are mirrored from the Asteroid Institute’s BigQuery replica of the MPC database (see https://mpcq.readthedocs.io/en/latest/bigquery_dataset.html) and are sourced from the public_obs_sbn table. Exports are updated daily when new observations are available and include both daily partitions for incremental access and a periodically regenerated full-dataset SQLite database optimized for spatiotemporal queries.File formats: daily CSV (.csv.gz) and Parquet (.parquet); full SQLite (rubin.sqlite.gz with indexes).Partitioning: daily files are grouped by the UTC value of public_obs_sbn.created_at (ingestion/creation time). This can differ from the observation timestamp obstime and from MPC submission_id.Access: all files are publicly readable in Google Cloud Storage at gs://asteroid-institute-public/production/rubin/mpc/obs_sbn/ and via HTTPS under https://storage.googleapis.com/asteroid-institute-public/production/rubin/mpc/obs_sbn/.
