This data provides Transcriptome sequences from longissimus dorsi muscle tissues of two Chinese pig breeds (Diannan small-ear pig and Tibetan pig) and two introduced pig breeds (Large white and landrace). This study provides a potential good model for researching the mechanism underlying muscle development that is helpful for improving lean meat percentage and meat quality, as well as supplying some potential values for understanding human obesity.
