S6_Grain axes and transformation Ziller sample

This is the supplementary dataset S6 to the paper "How to quantify heavy mineral fertility from point-counting data". The dataset contains the measured a- and b-axes of all grains from the 63-125 and 125-250 microns fractions of the Ziller sediment. In addition, it shows how these values are used to transform area% (calculated from the grain diameters) into volume% and mass%.
