资源简介:
This paper explores whether bidirectional temporal dynamics in quantum mechanics—such as time-symmetry and retrocausality—could theoretically influence the neurobiological or phenomenological experience of human dreaming. Time-symmetric interpretations of quantum mechanics, including the Transactional Interpretation and Two-State Vector Formalism, challenge the classical view of unidirectional causality and raise questions about the role of quantum effects in biological systems. Meanwhile, dreaming remains an enigmatic aspect of consciousness, often marked by nonlinear temporal perception and anomalous memory processing. By synthesizing findings from quantum physics, neuroscience, and philosophy of mind, this paper proposes speculative yet conceptually coherent models in which retrocausal quantum states might subtly interact with neural dynamics during sleep. While acknowledging the theoretical and empirical limitations of this approach, we suggest potential experimental pathways, such as neuroimaging studies and quantum-inspired computational models, that could further explore this intriguing intersection.
