This dataset, titled *Stoichiometry of Carbon, Nitrogen, and Phosphorus in Soil: Effects of Agricultural Land Use and Climate at a Continental Scale*, evaluates the impacts of agricultural land use and climate on soil carbon (C), nitrogen (N), and phosphorus (P) stoichiometry by measuring soil C:N:P stoichiometry in forest lands (as control treatments), agricultural uplands, and paddy fields across four climatic zones (tropical, subtropical, warm temperate, and mid-temperate) in eastern China.
