Draft Genome Sequences of Xanthomonas Strains associated with bacterial spot disease in Turkey

Bacterial spot is an economically significant disease in tomato and pepper-producing countries globally. We report the whole genome sequence of 11 Xanthomonas strains associated with bacterial spot disease on pepper, tomato, and eggplant in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, Turkey. This genomic information can be used as a reference to study the genetic diversity of these species and contribute to illuminating pathogen evolution with respect to host specificity.细菌斑点是全球番茄和辣椒生产国家的重要经济病害。本研究报告了土耳其东南部安纳托利亚地区与辣椒、番茄和茄子细菌斑点病相关的11个黄单胞菌菌株的全基因组序列。该基因组信息可作为研究这些物种遗传多样性的参考，并有助于阐明病原体在宿主特异性方面的进化过程。
