Seismic Dataset for Crack Detection in Concrete Using Seesaw Hammer

This dataset supports the validation of the new developed Seesaw Hammer as a controlled seismic source and its application in detecting vertical cracks in concrete structures. It consists of two main sections: (1) hammer validation data using various brass adapters and tip types, and (2) measurements from a concrete slab with an embedded vertical crack filled with different fluids. The data were used to generate dispersion curves and estimate the quality factor (Q). MATLAB scripts used for processing, including PhaseShift_polygon.m and bootstrap_for_Q_factor.m, are provided.
