Regenerative Urban Transformation in Urban Planning: A Systematic Review of Key Themes and Planning Implications

This dataset supports the systematic literature review presented in the article “Regenerative Urban Transformation in Urban Planning: A Systematic Review of Key Themes, Conceptual Gaps, and Planning Implications.” It includes the list of selected studies (n = 38) identified through a PRISMA-guided review process using the SCOPUS database. The dataset provides metadata for each study, including authors, publication year, journal, and thematic classification developed through reflexive thematic analysis. In addition, the dataset contains a column titled “Frequently Identified Code(s) (MAXQDA)”, which presents the most prominent codes assigned to each study based on qualitative coding conducted in MAXQDA. These codes reflect the dominant concepts and analytical categories identified within each article. The search was conducted on March 2, 2025. The dataset was developed to ensure transparency, traceability, and reproducibility of the review process.
