苗族纹样是苗族文化的重要载体，类型丰富，涵盖动物、植物、几何等多种。动物纹样中，蝴蝶纹与 “蝴蝶妈妈” 传说相关，象征生命创造；龙纹、鸟纹则寄托着对吉祥、自由的向往。植物纹样里，枫叶纹、花卉纹体现对自然的热爱与美好寓意。几何纹样如十字纹、菱形纹、漩涡纹，蕴含着对天地、生命的认知。这些纹样造型夸张、色彩鲜艳，每一款都承载着独特的文化内涵和苗族人民的情感寄托。Miao ethnic decorative patterns are important carriers of Miao culture, with diverse categories covering animal, plant, geometric and other types. Among animal motifs, the butterfly pattern is related to the legend of "Mother Butterfly", symbolizing the creation of life; dragon patterns and bird patterns convey the aspiration for auspiciousness and freedom. For plant motifs, maple leaf patterns and floral patterns reflect the love for nature and carry good auspicious meanings. Geometric motifs such as cross patterns, diamond patterns and vortex patterns embody the Miao people's cognition of heaven, earth and life. These patterns feature exaggerated forms and vibrant colors, and each one carries unique cultural connotations and the emotional sustenance of the Miao people.
